Now on to a few great recipes from the past week!
Whisk: a food blog had some fantastic looking bagels. They are Montreal-style and I have to say that this post did as much to educate me as it did to get my bagel craving going. I’ve never made my own bagels, but these sound great!
The Reluctant Vegetarian’s Sweet Potato and Black Bean Wrap looks wonderful. I love how she shredded the sweet potatoes. Such a great idea!
you were probably a wee bit jet lacked its a long journey right like going to europe have a great weekend
I hope you are having a great time in Brazil!
I’ve never made bagels before either but have always wanted to try! Hope you had a safe trip back
Thanks everyone. The trip went well. Even though there isn’t much of a time change that one night without sleep on the plane always gets me. It takes me a week to get back to feeling like myself again. 🙂
Those recipes look great! I’ve made a sweet potato black bean burrito recipe before that was fabulous. This recipe looks different but really good too.
Definitely catch up on your rest! I’m so far behind on my blog reading and posting because of my class but I’ve learned to let it go and start up again when I’m good and ready! Thanks for these great links – I’ve never had (or heard of) Montreal-style bagels but not it’s got me craving for some, and the black bean/sweet potato wrap sounds soooo good!
Thanks for mentioning my curry recipe! It really was tasty, so much better than other homemade curries I’ve done. Coconut milk rules, and I’m glad to see that a nutritionist approves of it!
The dog and the monkey are just the cutest!!
