Okay, as if that isn’t enough wonderful links for this weekend, here come some more. This was one of those weeks where I found myself bookmarking page after page of good stuff. I had to narrow it down a bit to keep from making your read on all day, but here you go!
Rebecca’s everyday foods had a unique recipe for Peach Biscuit Soup. I’d never seen anything quite like it and it sounds delicious.
The plans for the White House organic garden were released in a New York Times article this week. Such an exciting project and there is all kinds of cool stuff on the planting list.
Compost and Its Rewards on The Epi-Log was a great review and personal account about using an indoor composter.
Two Peas and Their Pod featured a recipe for Snickerdoodle Blondies this week. I don’t think I need to say anymore about that winning combination. Yum!
Contests and Giveaways:
Savor the Thyme has the cutest contest going with her challenge for foodies to use Peeps as the inspiration for some culinary creations.
Diet, Dessert and Dogs is showing off her brand new site design (great!) and giving away the organic maple syrup she reviewed this week.
LOVIN’ ALL THE LINKS!!!! Especially for the PB winners – so much creativity in the blogging world!!
Thanks for all the links.
What great PB winners!
Thanks for the great links! I really enjoyed the indoor composting one, and am now looking into this for myself. Do you compost at all, and if so, what has your experience been? Also, those peanut butter recipes are amazing…especially the peanut butter and caramel smores. Wow. (The PB Sammie looked a little scary to me, however…) Enjoy your weekend!
congrats to the winners! that peach biscuit soup sounds amazing!!
All of the PB entries were awesome! Thanks for all the great links. I’m off to check some of them out. Have a great weekend!
Thanks everyone. How awesome were the PB winners?! I love having all those recipes!
Sapuch – I’ve never composted myself. Right now we live in a high rise apt with no access to a garden. My father has a compost pile for his garden, but I’m not educated on the ins and outs of it yet. I plan to have one when we leave Brazil and that is why this indoor option looks ideal to me. Seems like it would make it easier for someone with just a small garden without a lot of yard space. The sammie scared me a bit too. I think I’d have to go sans miracle whip. 🙂
I just put chocolate PB2 on my whole wheat waffles for breakfast and it was so good. I love peanut butter!
Fab links! I think Amy’s entry was really awesome too!! Two peas and their pod is one of my favorite blogs- they post the BEST recipes!!
Thank you for your inspiration/kind words about the clean eating!
Enjoy the relaxing weekend! Sometimes being really un busy is just the best!
Wow, congrats to all the winners!! Those recipes sound fabulous. And thanks for the link to the maple syrup giveaway! 🙂
Congratulations on the PB winners – I could kick myself for not getting on the ball with my idea. I still plan to make it; I’ll post it as a delayed entry.
Thanks again for the this weekend’s links!
So glad everyone was as excited about the PB contest as I was. I love all the new recipes!
Erica – You are welcome! I hope it is going well. I’m headed over to catch up on the report. 🙂
