I came across so many great recipes this week as well as inspiring stories and some more info on sugar. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!
Links to a Healthy Weekend
May 23, 2009Very cool eat to live article! Thanks for the linkage. Enjoy your memorial day weekend
Thanks for the great links, as always! I hope you’re enjoying your time in southern IN and KY. Being from that general part of the US – southern OH, namely – I sometimes miss the summers: the green trees, the wooded farmland, the deafening buzz of cicadas in the evenings. And I love that photo of your parent’s donkey! I didn’t know donkeys could be so cute!
That’s a really cute donkey! Wow, I can’t imagine owning one of those 🙂
I agree-the donkey is adorable! Thanks for the great links! Happy Memorial Day!
Thanks for sharing! I always enjoy seeing what links you’ve picked for your Links to a Healthy Weekend!
Hope your weekend and time in the US is going wonderfully : )
Being a proud doggy-mommy (yes, that’s what I call myself) I enjoyed the WashPost article, and the quinoa salad looked soooo good! Hope your weekend has been fun. As for summer, it’s beginning to make itself known here in MN – in the 70s today! 😎
Thanks for all your comments! Sorry about that nasty spam. Looks like it is a blogger issue and it can’t be deleted, right now anyway.
The donkey rocks! I’ve never been around one before and she loves to play, but here hee-haw is quite loud. Ha, ha!
My time in the US is going great! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend!
Thanks for the mention Lori! Have a great weekend!
Lori, what I would give to run along side horses, it’s romanticizes the idea of exercise. Thanks for the links, I’m going to go check them out.
What a gorgeous setting for a run! Hope your having a wonderful weekend!
What a beautiful place to get some exercise! I loved your photos.
What beautiful scenery to enjoy a good run! If I could excercise with such a backdrop it would be wonderful.
What a cute horse pic 🙂
Have a nice Sunday!
What a beautiful place to run–so peaceful! Great links as usual. Have a fabulous week! 😉
I love running outside – two miles is my max in the gym, I get so bored I want to scream. But, when I’m outside I can go so much further without even realizing it. Outdoor hikes, team sports, and running with my dog are the best for me. The horse farms look beautiful.
I INFINITELY prefer running outside to running indoors. It’s so much more exhilarating!
Thanks for the health links.
I envy you for the weather you’re having during winter! It’s simply too cold here in MN to consider a run (although, to be honest, I’m not much of a runner even in very fair weather!) We haven’t seen more than a few minutes of sunshine for close to a week now. Sigh. When does spring come back again?
Thanks for the links!
